Website Changes
This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to the
Cooper Legal Services' web site. If you've visited us before and want
to know what's changed, take a look here first.
2/14/08 - After receiving quite a bit of feedback (about 50% positive and 50% negative)
over the years re: the music on this site, I have decided that I can probably make pretty much everyone happy by disabling all the midis on this website but giving you the option still of being able to turn the midis on by clicking on the Windows media play button. Enjoy!
4/11/05 - I've added some new pages re: child support guidelines and DUIs.
10/4/02 - We're in the middle of updating The Law Library...taking out old
links and putting in some new ones. We may even give this area a face-lift
too...
9/14/02 - The web page has been transferred
from the old computer Pentium III 500 mhz system to a new Pentium 4 2.4Ghz
system with 512 mb of RAM. The Website now has the capability to do
advanced movie feedback and streaming audio thanks to the new system that
includes movie software and a DVD-RW unit.
6/12/00 - The Legal News and Commentary page now features the top
legal news stories across the country and thanks to streaming
technology...those news stories are updated every 15 minutes!
4/29/00 - The Bookstore is now open! In the bookstore, I list
some of the books that I often recommend to my clients. And
since my website is now a Barnes & Noble Bookstore affiliate, you
can order books from the world's largest bookseller (as easy as a
single click) with savings up to 40% off on Bestsellers and up to 90%
off Bargain books!
11/13/99 - Cooper Legal Services has been moved to a new and better
server. The move was accomplished in a few hours! This
move should solve any problems with incoming email and improve the
speed of the web page.
5/5/99 - Changes to Cooper Legal Services' web page will be
occurring on a regular basis now that we have the web page transferred
from the old computer onto a new Pentium III 500 mhz system.
4/20/99 - One of the goals of the new format of the Cooper Legal
Services' web site was to make it easier to keep the "Interesting
Information" section up to date. You will soon notice that the
Law Library, Legal News and Commentary, Legal Topic of the Week and
the popular Lawyer Joke of the Week will be updated on a regular
basis.
4/10/99 - Finally...Cooper Legal Services' web site has received a
much-needed face-lift! Thanks to everyone for your suggestions on
making this site better and easier to use. Keep those suggestions
coming! As promised, I have added my "Primary Areas of
Practice" section that gives short answers to common questons
that come up in my practice. You will like this section!
9/21/98 - The Legal News and Commentary section is finally online.
This section promises to spark a few fires and offer up some
interesting comments on some of the hottest legal issues of the day. I
look forward to seeing everyone's response to this section.
6/26/98 - The Law Library is improved with up-to-date commentary on
each web site!
5/16/98 - The Legal Topic of the Week section is now up. In general
terms, I am going to address some estate planning, personal injury,
family law and criminal law questions that you might have.
5/16/98 - The Lawyer Joke of the Week section is up and running. I
have gathered a pretty good collection of lawyer jokes over the years
and I am always looking for a good lawyer joke that I haven't heard.
If you think you have one, email me your best.
5/14/98 - The Law Library has been updated. Thanks to all those who
have been nice enough to compliment this section of my web page. I
agree that The Law Library is the best place to go to search Indiana
law on the web. As always, if you have any sites or areas of law that
you would like me to add to The Law Library...just drop me an email.
8/25/97 - About Cooper Legal Services is up. This section is
basically my brochure and I've tried to avoid the silly legalese and
gobbledy-gook that you find in many such brochures.
8/25/97 - The Law Library is up and running. I plan on revising
this section often and will try to make it as user-friendly and
informative as I possible can. Please check back often and email me
with suggested links to add.
8/24/97 - Unfortunately, I have deleted the feedback page because
the feedback information was not being recorded for some reason. When
I figure out how to fix it, I'll get it back up. Until that time, I
guess you can always email me...right? Thanks for your patience.
8/04/97 - Cooper Legal Services' web site debut - Like most roads
in Indianapolis in the summertime, major construction is underway.
